Chandler tries to figure out the design on Indigo's dress. At least that is what he jokes that he is doing. Indigo thinks he's so sweet and wishes she had told him her real age (he still doesn't know; he was just busy with work for awhile). She hates lying to him, even if it's just a lie of ommision. And she doesn't want to tell him now, since she's afraid he won't want to have anything to do with a 16 year old. "Well, I'm almost 17," she tells herself, "And Chandler is only 19, so it doesn't really matter." And Jan chows down on some salad. :-)
Shane had another big party. People love his parties as much as they do Chloe Singles! Actually a little more, since he has a much bigger house! And who do we see at the right there? Yes, Chandler has agreed to come to this party, too! And he seems to once again be having a blast with Indigo! "Have you heard about the ladybugs and the bees?"
A little while later, Shane inexplicably shows up in the back yard, his needs nearly all at their lowest! He hops in the Energizer and then the next thing he does is some dishes, to try to feel normal again. Grey and Cyan are at a loss to explain what happened, why Shane didn't get dropped off in a showy display like the other abductions, but Grey realizes eventually that the aliens must be changing their tactics, to avoid capture. They are very tricky, that way! (He did just show up in the yard that way. Is he pregnant with an alien baby? Wait and see!)
Cadet is thinking, "Why not me? I don't want to let my uncles down!" And the girls are mostly concerned that their potential boyfriends, Edward Fuchs and David Gibson saw it! Indigo hasn't heard from Chandler in a while, so she figures he must know her real age somehow, darn it! So she's moving on with Edward, and Sage is working on getting a first kiss out of David.
When Sage comes upstairs after the party is over, Indigo fills her in on what happened with Chandler, which makes something that seemed like a dream more real. Sage tells Indigo that she's lucky she saw him first! What they don't realize is that Wisteria had come up to say goodnight to the girls and accidentally overheard the conversation.
Indigo and Chandler talk about everything, from what she's studying at school (he assumed she goes to junior college) to his job and how much cops make (of course Indigo had to know THAT.) Before they know it, Chandler looks at his watch and it is midnight! "Wow, I have NEVER lost track of time like that! You're something special, Indigo," Chandler says, then turns red and leaves.
Chandler is mortified, but Indigo sets him at ease. "Oh that's just a picture of my mom when she was pregnant with me. She'd think it was funny, probably, if you hit it, and just make Uncle Grey paint another one of her, one where she says she looks less chunky with baby fat!" Chandler is surprised to actually find himself becoming comfortable with this Indigo girl. "Wow, your mom must have had you when she was 15, since you're about 20 like me, right? And I'm Chandler." "Um, something like that. Nice to meet you, Chandler" Indigo says, not wanting him to know she's only 16! "I told your dad that I'd have a snowball's chance in you know where of having a good time, since I'm so shy at parties, but I'm finding myself enjoying this one!"
However, Indigo made it upstairs first! "Hel-lo?" she thinks to herself. "Who's this hunky guy in the family room?" Indigo is impressed. He's definitely an improvement over those little high school boys, that's for sure! And he has a job already! She walks up just as Chandler is about to throw a dart. "Hey, I'm Indigo. Wanna play for money?" Chandler glances over and the dart he's throwing nearly ends up in the portrait of Wisteria to the side of the dartboard!
