The guests (including Darren the Ghost) mingle and enjoy the party that Shane threw for his daughter's birthday. He's happy that this one seems to be going better than his last one! As you can see, Albert was invited and came since Indigo is sort of his grandkid, too, since he was married to Orchid and Wisteria's father figure most of her life. He had moved out, since he couldn't take all of the memories there, and moved back into his family home. The Legaseas were very understanding, telling him to visit whenever he wanted. Poor Albert. He just wanders around, not knowing what to do without Orchid. [Simmer's Note: He never actually moved in in the first place, ha.]
Indigo flies up into the air to transition, while Shane thinks about the last party he threw before being abducted, that didn't go too well (this one ended up good, though, so he got his happy party aspiration points that he missed from the last party, yay!). And Ultra is glad Shane is back, too, and looking forward to not being the only green Sim in the house for long!
He still doesn't know what to think and the guys are still waiting for it to sink in. Shane is just glad that he got back in time for his daughter's birthday party! Wisteria and Indigo both also seem happy he's come back in time, too! (That baby was the thinking-est little thing I ever saw! She was always thinking about SOMEBODY, usually her daddy, which was sweet!)
Grey explains his experiences when he was abducted and that that was where Sky and Ultra came from. "And from your symptoms, it looks like you are pregnant with an alien baby, too, just like I was twice and like Ice was with Green. We can help you through this." Wisteria is happy about a new family member--it's almost like Orchid left so this new baby could be born to start life over again. Shane sits there in silence, his sandwich forgotten. He had heard that was how Grey and Ice had their children, but he figured everyone was pulling his leg and that those kids had green mommies somewhere in the neighborhood. So he went along with it, figuring they would tell him they were joshing him about the whole "abduction" thing. But now this has happened. Now he HAS to believe, no matter how much he doesn't want to. A baby??? Inside him??? They HAVE to be kidding, right?
Shane says it's okay for Wisteria to hold him while they sleep that night and she comforts him when he keeps waking up with nightmares. The next day, Grey tries to talk to Shane about things over lunch. "Well, it WAS cool in a way, because I got to make some alien friends, and you know how much I LOVE making friends! But the stuff that happened after that, I don't know how I feel about that!"
Wisteria comes out, too, and is oddly serene when told about her husband's abduction. She's not worried about him; everyone else in the family who was abducted came back fine, and all of them (except for Cyan that one time) came back pregnant with an alien baby! Wisteria is happy that there may be another addition to the family soon, a little sibling for Indigo! (And that she won't have to carry it this time! It's only fair!) (I also just loved this shot of the two.)
The next night, Shane goes out to study the stars some more, and sees something VERY strange in the telescope, something he's never seen before, some kind of ship in the sky! Next thing he knows, he's being pulled up into that very ship by a strange, but powerful beam of light! The other Stargazers come running over, all excited. It worked again!
When Shane comes in after a long night of stargazing and sees his baby daughter, he is simply amazed by her like Wisteria was, and tells Wisteria that he is so proud of her for bringing Indigo into the world, that she's an amazing lady. Then he makes Wisteria get some sleep, after her night of labor, and gets some bonding time himself with Indigo, by feeding her some breakfast in a bottle.
