"And that silver hair . . . " Albert runs his fingers through her thick curls, staring at her with that look in his eyes Orchid knows so well, too, the I'm-about-to-kiss-you look. And then he does. 

Albert holds her hands and tells her that she has always been beautiful, is even more beautiful now, and just gets more lovely every day. Orchid knows him so well, that she knows he's telling her the truth. 

Orchid nervously asks Albert if he likes her new look, since he hasn't had a chance to see her new outfit yet. 

And here is Wisteria's portrait on the family wall. She's a little overwhelmed to be seen as an "heiress" but also very proud to have her picture on the wall with these strong, gorgeous women. 

All finished! It turned out beautifully, the whole family agrees. 

He uses his time off (from both work and stargazing) to paint, spending most of his time and effort on Wisteria's teen portrait. 

The family decides to focus on the positives in their lives, like Grey's impending alien baby! It is very clear now that he is expecting again and is very excited about it. 

I think she turned into a gorgeous elder! Probably the most attactive one I've had in the game at least. 

Despite the Nanny's death, Orchid's birthday party turned out to be a Good Time. Orchid was kind of freaked by yet another death in her kitchen, but didn't really know that Nanny, so was ultimately okay. Here she is after a change of clothes and makeup. 

Alas, the Nanny (whose name I cannot even remember at this moment) has suffered death in the Legasea house. Since she had no relatives, the Legaseas decide to let her urn reside in the viewing and portrait room, with the family's urns. (That's -1 for a visitor death for me, ugh, but +1 for a burned to death ghost, so I guess it evens out. But, sigh.) 

Ice did his best with a new extinguisher; however, the flames were too much for the poor Nanny and Death has come for her! It seems like Albert may have the ability to see the Grim Reaper, unlike most other Sims! 

A couple of hours later . . . The Nanny didn't listen to Green and has set herself on fire while trying to cook a hamburger! 

"Well, that wasn't so bad," she thinks. "And I still don't look too bad, either," she thinks, glancing down at her body. 

She grits her teeth and closes her eyes, and everybody applauds as they watch Orchid's transition. 

As she blows out her candles, Orchid's wish is that Albert will love her just as much after she transitions. 

The family and guests all cheer for Orchid. She figures if they're happy about it, she might as well try to be. 

Albert looks adoringly at his beautiful wife as she gets ready to blow out the candles. He has tried to reassure her that it doesn't matter to him at all that she's becoming an elder, but Orchid isn't quite convinced. 

"But I should be giving YOU a massage, Orchid, it's YOUR birthday!" Albert protests, but just a little. He LOVES Orchid's massages! And Orchid loves giving them! 

Cadet walks in on Spring in the bathroom when she's changing into her bathing suit. "Just read the sign, DANGEROUS CURVES AHEAD!" Spring warns him. 

"Oh, and you brought a friend . . . wait a minute, aren't you . . . A NANNY?" (Dramatic Music: Dum, da, duuuummmm!) "Okay, you can stay, as long as you DON'T COOK ANYTHING!!!" 

While Green is outside saying bye to Kelly, his oldest daughter, Spring, shows up for the party and Green greets her with a family kiss. 

Kelly comes over to say hi to her dad and to wish Orchid a happy birthday, but can't stay for the party. Green's just glad to see his daughter for however long he can. 

Cadet practices his fancy version of "Happy Birthday" on the piano, so he can surprise his mom later--it's Orchid's birthday today! 

The rest of the Stargazing Army use their energizers so they can stay up all night to try to get abducted, too! 

Just like after the last time he was abducted, Grey is tired a lot, but this time he knows the reason why!
