Since everyone is worried about Orchid (except Darren, of course, who would love some inheritance money!), no one notices how Grey can't seem to shake the flu. Unfortunately, it has progressed to pneumonia and Grey passes out on the sidewalk! The driver of the carpool doesn't notice and drives away. (I love how a guy can get out of their car and start dying and they just drive off!)
