"Hey, Omelet, did you know I'm engaged!" Posted by Hello

After Lola goes home that night, Green can't keep a grin off his face. "Hey, Wisteria, I'm engaged!" Wisteria keeps chatting on the computer to her friends, at the same time telling Green, "I know, I know! Everyone in Strangetown knows! Yeesh!" Posted by Hello

Ice bursts into a grin and claps his hands. "I couldn't keep that up anymore!" he laughs. "Green had told me he was going to ask you and I was hoping you'd accept. I told him he'd better make the mother of my grandkids happy or he'd have to report to me!" Lola says, "Whew, that was mean!" and laughs. "But I'm so relieved that you are happy with us getting married!" Ice replies, "It's about time! I know you guys have been crazy about each other for years!" Posted by Hello

"Um, yes, he asked me tonight and I accepted. I hope that you approve of me and Green being married. I love your son very much and want to make him really happy." Posted by Hello

Afterward, Lola runs into Ice, Green's dad, upstairs while leaving the bathroom. "So, I hear you're going to marry my son," Ice says in a stern voice, his hands on his hips. Posted by Hello

Green tries to shake away any worries he might have about the huge change in their lives and tells Lola how they will have a wedding party that everyone in Strangetown will be talking about for years to come! Posted by Hello

The reality of it sets in for them both, "Wow, I'm engaged," they both think to themselves, happy, but a little nervous, too. Posted by Hello

"And the kids will be so thrilled to have you move in with us and be there all of the time!" Lola says. Posted by Hello

"Yes, Green, yes, I accept! I've been in love with you for a long time now, but always thought you just wanted kids, not a relationship with me! I admit I was hard headed for a while, but know that I want to spend the rest of my life making you happy. I will marry you, Green!" Posted by Hello

"Green, are you serious? This isn't a joke, is it?" Lola still can't believe what is happening. "No, definitely not, Green says. "I've had feelings for you since we began having children together, but thought you just wanted it to be strictly business. Even tonight I thought I may be taking a big risk, but when you showed up looking so beautiful, I kind of got the feeling you might have feelings for me, too. You do, don't you? Why don't we show the whole world how we feel in a big wedding ceremony!" Posted by Hello

Then Green opens up a velvet box with a sparkling diamond ring inside and proposes to a thrilled Lola. Posted by Hello

Green stops her, and says, "That's great, but I don't want to talk about the kids right now. I want to talk about just me and you." Then he gets down on one knee and Lola jumps up from the seat in complete surprise! Posted by Hello

I lost track of them for a little while and came across the two autonomously playing chess, which I thought was really sweet, and definitely something they would naturally do together! Lola is telling Green about the kids' latest report cards, how they are all straight A students! Posted by Hello

. . . which turns into a close slow dance. Lola is in heaven. She can't believe that Green still wants her even after their "business arrangement" is over! Maybe he isn't just interested in her kids, but Lola for herself! Posted by Hello

Next, Green and Lola enjoy some fast dancing in the kitchen . . .  Posted by Hello

Green cooked dinner for the two of them, so they had a nice romantic time while the rest of the household members tried to give them some room. Posted by Hello

Yes, Green does like it! He shows how much by giving Lola a passionate kiss in front of the chapel. (That's where all of the guests go first.) Posted by Hello

Green has invited Lola over for a "special date," as he put it. Lola is excited, as they've never really had a real date before! She buys a new outfit for the occasion and hopes that Green likes it! (Note: A male friend of mine saw this picture and said it was a "Star Trek geek dream come true," ha.) Posted by Hello

"And that silver hair . . . " Albert runs his fingers through her thick curls, staring at her with that look in his eyes Orchid knows so well, too, the I'm-about-to-kiss-you look. And then he does. Posted by Hello

Albert holds her hands and tells her that she has always been beautiful, is even more beautiful now, and just gets more lovely every day. Orchid knows him so well, that she knows he's telling her the truth. Posted by Hello
