So Samuel starts right away proving that he will be good for Veronica, first by playing her a special song on the piano, her favorite love song by Llama Mama!
Samuel agrees to move in, so they can see where this relationship will go. Veronica explains that it is advice that has been passed on to each heiress since the 3rd or 4th generation, to have their potential "someone" move in for awhile before a commitment, so that they won't wind up with a bad guy, or a bad relationship.
And after that first kiss, Veronica wanted more! Samuel finds himself definitely not minding her occasional boldness that much anymore!
Neither of them had ever cared for romance before, so they had both never had their first kiss. Having it with that perfect someone made them finally understand what all of those Romance Sims were always raving about!
They hugged and both knew that at that moment, they were both each others' best friend, and their crush all in one.
Samuel stammered briefly, struck by the sight of Veronica's luscious body, then regained his composure and told her that he thought that she would never want someone like him, a lowly bartender with no family, that she could have anyone in Strangetown she wanted and he never dreamed that that someone would be him! "But," he said, grasping her hands in his tightly, "I'd be extremely honored to be that someone."
She explained to him that she wasn't sure where their relationship was going, if they were just friends or something more, so she figured this would be a way to figure it out! If they were just friends, they could laugh about it, but if they were something more, "then," Veronica said, pointing at Samuel, "you could be the one for me!"
As I said earlier, it seems like love is in the air! Veronica and Samuel had been talking on the phone and getting to know each other for a few weeks, when Veronica decided to be bold again, and asked Samuel to come over, but to meet her outside. And when he got there, she was wearing nothing but her underwear!
THEY certainly aren't shy about public displays of affection!
Ah, they are embarrassed at watching Grey and Rosemary together (Ripp Grunt and Ophelia Nigmos' son, Oliver, also seems to be caught in the embarrassment field as well.)
Ha, it's the embarrassed brothers. :-) Freaking out in stereo.
Well, it looks like Grey is impressed with how Veronica has "filled out." :-)
Daddy's girl.
And of course, when you put a pretty dress on a kid, the first thing she will do is run off and play in the tub in it!
I dressed Mist up for her portrait, but I did a close up, so the dress doesn't show in it, but I wanted to show off how pretty she is in her formalwear anyway!
Cerulean, if you don't get yourself abducted soon, I'll have to get you out of the tub and out of the house, as well!
Okay, Veronica, you're an adult now, time to find a job! Luckily "Gnomester.com" is there to help!
Meanwhile, China's twin sister, Mist, plays with Daddy Joel. In the bathroom, of course. :-)
Well, the party's over (mission accomplished, getting Veronica and Samuel closer) and China has finished her self portrait and put it up over her bed. It turned out cute! She's very creative for her age! :-)
After everybody else nonchalantly decides to leave the living room, however, Samuel is MUCH more accepting of Veronica's affection! So, he does like Veronica; he just didn't want to show it in front of a crowd of people he didn't know very well!
Oh no! Veronica comes into the living room and decides to be bold and just start flirting with Samuel, even tho she hasn't seen him since she was a teen, and he rejects it in front of everybody!!!
Ah, look who else has been at the party--our favorite bartender, Samuel Shahan! This time, he doesn't have to bartend; he's a guest, but he came over straight from a job and didn't have time to change. And Grey has woken up to join the party, I see. :-)
Veronica tells China how fantastic her self portrait is. She's a great mother figure for the twins, since they only have a father.
The sandwiches get eaten, so salad is promptly made by Joel to keep the guests happy.
Feast your eyes, ladies (and gentlemen, if you're so inclined) . . .
