And the closing shot for this update is the cutest picture I think I've ever taken. Cadet gives his little sister, Wisteria, a family kiss. Too adorable!
And here she is after her bath, when she decided to take a nap while levitating in her underwear in the middle of the living room.
Chloe, a visitor, taking a bath after the party. She stuck around for a while and pretended like she lived in the Legasea house.
A second teleprompter podium!
Some random shots. Here, Grey is impressed that Cadet seems to have picked up the levitation trick from Green.
Sky also enjoys some cuddle time with Wisteria.
Here, we see that Darren's neatness also lives on, in his son. He's the only kid I know who would be mopping the bathroom floor in the middle of a birthday party! (He did that himself!)
A little cuddle time with mom before cutting the cake. Cadet is anxious for that cake!
. . . where she transitions into a pretty toddler! And her dress is perfect, purple, with a little wisteria flower on it! Orchid remembers that Darren ordered this dress for his little girl before he died. Darren's love lives on in his beautiful children.
But then she looks at all the people around her that love her and her children, then looks at her little girl, and with a real smile on her face, tosses Wisteria into the air . . .
Her smile falters for a second when she imagines Darren standing there, cheering and blowing a noisemaker.
She tries to put a smile on her face when all the guests come to cheer for little Wisteria.
However, when Orchid brings the baby to the cake, she starts tearing up, thinking of how Darren should be there, celebrating and seeing his little baby girl become a toddler.
He then hands Wisteria to Orchid and Orchid smiles for the first time in days. "You're right, Green. Let's give this little girl the happy birthday she deserves!"
Orchid can't think about anything else but Darren and his death, and the guilt she would feel if she were happy. Green tells her that Darren would want her to be happy and to celebrate little Wisteria's life and make it the best she can.
After Green takes the baby from Denim and changes her diaper, he tells Orchid that it's time to bring Wisteria to her cake.
Denim feeds the baby her dinner: "What's that smell?"
A few days later, it is time for Wisteria's birthday. The guys decide to invite over a bunch of people, hoping to cheer Orchid and Cadet up a little bit.
Then collapsing into tears when she remembers what happened.
Orchid also has a similar experience, wondering where Darren was briefly when she gets up, thinking how strange it was that he wasn't there beside her.
Cadet realizes that it wasn't just a bad dream; his daddy is really gone.
Both Orchid and Cadet go right to bed, exhausted from grief. When Cadet wakes up, he thinks about running up to see his daddy . . . wait a minute . . .
Cadet was a real daddy's boy, the poor thing.
Cadet also mourns his father and refuses to be comforted. The guys, strangely enough, don't seem too upset. Grey, in particular, got a strange smile on his face when he looked at the deadly dishwasher, but made sure no one else saw it.
As the body is prepared for it's urn, Orchid sobs for her husband. He wasn't the best guy in the world, she knew, but he didn't deserve to die so young! She also cries for her children, who were so very close to their daddy. part of her did love Darren a little bit and will miss him, too.
