And we'll fade out with a cute shot of Sky as a teen, and Ice, both napping happily away before school and work. I guess the sleepy bug had bitten them.
Here, Green is jealous of Darren, looking forward to his own wedding and starting a huge family.
Cyan is also pretty proud of himself. He quit his stressful politics job after his breakdown and focuses on what he really wanted to, science. He did much better in this field, reaching the top of his career, and becoming a Mad Scientist, like his grandma, Lilac, the founder of the family.
Then, Sky acheives her impossible want of mastering ALL of the skills. She can hardly believe it!
To show her dad how grown up she is and that she has earned his pride, Sky masters the Charisma skill.
Grey has also picked out a beautiful dress for Sky for everyday wear--he definitely has gotten better with fashion choices! The dress goes perfectly with Sky's skin and makeup. "Daa-aad, do you have to take a picture of EVERYTHING?"
"Yay, I didn't have to wear the bunny suit to bed, either! It must just be a guy thing."
Meanwhile, Darren spends a lot of time with one of the guests he invited in particular, Crystal Vu: "Oh, Darren, you shouldn't say such things to me--I'm a married woman and you're engaged!" Crystal giggles, a gleam in her eye.
Grey managed to pull some strings and make it to his daughter's party after all! "I'm so proud of my beautiful, brilliant girl," he says. "I love you, Daddy," Sky says in return, giving her dad a big hug.
. . . and having fun with the guests. Look who just got home!
Sky still had a great time at her party, enjoying the cake . . .
And here's another picture for Grey, his little girl, all grown up!
And here's the transition-taking-place photo.
A before transition shot. They made sure to take lots of pictures for Grey to look at when he got home.
However, Grey already had Sky's birthday present picked out, a beautiful dress for her birthday! This time, he got it right--Sky loved it!
He also throws a spur of the moment birthday party for Sky, despite knowing only three other people. Luckily a couple of other people were already there, so it wasn't too weird, but Sky's dad Grey was still at work and missed his daughter's transition thanks to Darren's interference in their lives.
The rest of the family are stunned that their little Orchid is engaged so quickly to a man they barely know! So, Darren tries to ingratiate himself with the family, first by continuing his expert gardening abilities.
Darren happily sweps Orchid off her feet and carries her to the bed for her first time. He thinks, "This had better be worth it." Orchid thinks he's in love with her.
Orchid, trying to forget about Albert and the tears that thinking about him causes, kisses Darren passionately.
Even though it's not exactly how she envisioned her proposal, in the bathroom, and not with Albert giving her the ring, Orchid figures she might as well accept, since Albert might not age. Also, Darren gives her this feeling that isn't love, like she feels with Albert, but it's an exciting feeling, one she wants to explore further!
However, Orchid is adamant about not "giving it up" until she is at least engaged to the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with, so Darren reluctantly proposes, if that's the only way he can get it. (He has more in common with Orchid's grandpa, Weldon, than just the red hair!)
He moves in, but slow is not how he wants things to go with Orchid. He knows she has the hots for him; a lot of women do (another Romance Sim! Orchid is unfortunately keeping the trend started by Lilac so long ago!).
The next day, she tells Darren that he can move in, but that she wants to take their relationship slow.
Darren has asked if he can move in, since he just lost his place (got kicked out is more like it). Orchid sits on the floor and writes in her diary to sort out her feelings in front of a portrait of her mom. She wishes her mom was still around to help her make this decision.
Their first kiss together is an innocent one, but Darren knows he'll be able to get more out of her as soon as she gets over that weirdo boyfriend she had as a kid.
