Joel rushes into the living room sobbing and tells Veronica about China. Veronica is stunned that something so horrible could happen on the best night of her life, her wedding night. Out of his mind with grief, Joel puts his favorite Thinking Cap on his head, forgetting that if you aren't mentally ready, it will fry your brain a bit and make you pass out. Or maybe he subconconsciously wanted to become oblivious to what happened?

Mist woke her father and told him what had happened to her sister. She had found the empty chanpagne bottle in one of the puddles of water around the pool and figured out the story. Joel couldn't believe it--he never in his worst nightmares thought he would outlive one of his daughters.

She cried all through her shower and changing clothes, before she felt able to tell the rest of the family.

Mist is the one to find her sister's body. Like many twins, she sensed that something was wrong with China and ran right out to the pool, where she then saw what had happened. She then rushes into the house, hysterically crying.

"Need ta go to bed . . . whereza ladder at???" 

China" "Woah, I'm feeling sleepy . . . and so dizzy . . . lookat the stars spinnin' around and around and . . . " 

Veronica: "See, we came right back!" Samuel: "That's okay; let's get you into bed! Or rather, let me get you into bed!" 

China has sneaked a bottle of champagne and after drinking it all, decides it would be fun to do a little late night swimming. 

Cleve, leave Midnight alone! Let the poor kid sleep! (Note to self: NEVER put the nursery right next to the urn room again!) 

I thought Chandler was too cute, playing pirate in his tux after the wedding. 

Look, Samuel, I can put my hand through my dress! 

Come on, Samuel! We get to drive around for a few hours and come back! It'll be fun!
