When she touched the keyboard, scientific notes and instructions started popping up, and it looked like they were about the medicine on the machine! Wisteria quickly read the note, which apologized to them all and explained why Green had to do what he did. She got tears in her eyes as she read how he loved them all and would miss them very much. Green also left thorough instructions for the medicine to give it to Lola before her disease became incurable, too. He said that this last dose should work, but he didn't think he'd have time to test it. Wisteria grabbed the medicine, and as she was putting the letter and the notes and instructions on a CD, she read the last part of Green's note, which was a poem for Lola. He wrote:

"I'm sorry I had to potty
on your special day
I wish I was not sick
in an awful way
I hope you will get better
with the stuff I made
Remember only the good times
now that I'm away"

(With thanks to Muisie for the poem!)

As she cleaned and mopped, she slowly moved to the laboratory equipment that Green had installed. She noticed the bright blue medicine finished and waiting, and saw that it was slightly glowing . . . "Weird," she thought, then sat down at the computer to rst for a minute. When she did, the screen lit up with a note, a note from Green! Posted by Hello

. . . before taking Shane's advice and cleaning up the place, starting with the toilet and the sink, doing it for Green, to put him at peace, like Shane said. Posted by Hello

. . . and cried, getting her feelings out . . .  Posted by Hello

After Shane left, Wisteria thought about Green and his death . . .  Posted by Hello

"Shane, hold me. I need your strong arms around me right now," Wisteria said, reaching out to him. Shane stepped back, holding up his hands and shaking his head no. He knew that other men would definitely take advantage of the innocent girl, but he is not that kind of guy. He doesn't even want to get too close to her, just to be safe. He tells her, "I'm sorry; I wish I could comfort you, but I can't; I don't want to confuse things. You're upset right now. Why don't you maybe move Green's urn to the mausoleum and make this place look nicer, so he can be at peace. That might help you find some peace, too. Have a good night, Wisteria." Posted by Hello

When Wisteria got there, she broke down again, seeing Green's urn and the place where he died. Posted by Hello

Wisteria had called Shane Brown, the family mailman she had gotten to be friends with, hysterical and in tears over Green. He said he would come right over. Wisteria had said to meet her in upper floor of the pool house; that's where Green is. So, when Shane got there, he thought about Green while looking at his urn and had a little moment of silence for him while waiting for Wisteria. Posted by Hello

Ice is very proud of her, how she continues to fight evildoers despite the loss of her father. He makes sure to comfort her whenever she feels sad. Posted by Hello

Okay, now we are caught up to present day action, and will go back to the Legasea house. It seems like Ice has another family member in the Captain Hero Corps--his granddaughter, Spring! Ice, Pine, and Spring are now a Crimefighting Trio! Posted by Hello

And here's the cute birthday boy, who thankfully seems like a normal kid after his transition! (Whew!) He's quite attractive, I think, and looks a lot like his dad. (Sniff.) Posted by Hello

A shot of some of the family enjoying the party. They had a great time being together again. Posted by Hello

I was wondering what would happen next, but Lola just put Reed on the floor like a toddler and he sat there like a toddler for a second, then was magically standing up and acting like a kid. It was bizarre, but nobody commented on it, so Reed wouldn't feel strange. Posted by Hello

Okay, one more short of the glitch, for the weirdness factor. Everyone seems oddly blase about it. (I think it might have happened because Reed had just had some Smart Milk before he transitioned? Anybody else have that happen with Smart Milk, or is that just a coincidence? I've never had this glitch before.) Posted by Hello

Now, it looks like they're doing some weird sort of synchronized dance . . .  Posted by Hello

Um, Lola, maybe you should have put Reed down BEFORE he transitioned! I've heard of a mother being attached to her kid, but this is ridiculous! (Ba-dum-DUM!) Posted by Hello

And here's Forest; he missed the blowing out of the candles, and he's in the bathroom, but at least he's in the house for the celebration! But what is that that Lola is doing with Reed? Posted by Hello

Okay, Pine has showed up, at least. Lola is determined her kids will be happy without Green. The nerve of that guy! Pretending he wanted to marry her, just so he could leave her and go on some stupid vacation! He's probably laughing at her right now with some hula girls! Well, she'll show him! She'll be happy without him! Posted by Hello

And it's time for celebrating, but where are the guys? IN THE POOL, of course! Sigh. They ARE just like their dad! At least Aspen has a good excuse, he's at his job as a security guard. Posted by Hello

And shortly afterward, Kelly welcomes big sister Spring to the party (she took a little longer to get ready and left later than the guys). Posted by Hello

Lola's older boys have come over for the first event, Reed's birthday, and, just like their father, decide to get in the pool for awhile first! (Doesn't Pine look sort of frog-like in the water there? :->) Posted by Hello

While everyone thought Green was away on his trip, a few momentous occaions happened at Lola's house. She found herself not feeling too well, coughing and such, but figured it was the flu. Posted by Hello

And now a shot of the Legasea family as it is currently. Grey is so cute holding Ultra. Posted by Hello

I'll start this update with a picture of the Legasea family before Green's tragic death and before Cadet grew up and Grey had Ultra. (I wish I'd realized I could do this earlier--it's so cool!) Posted by Hello

And we'll close with Ultra's first word, "Daddy." Grey is very touched and vows to keep his little girl safe and healthy, so he won't lose her the way Ice lost Green. Will anyone see the note Green left? Will Lola get the medicine? Will it work? Stay tuned! :-) Posted by Hello
